Pittsburgh’s biggest cultural weekend of the summer is back. On Saturday, August 8, 2026, Barrel & Flow Fest returns to The Stacks at 3 Crossings in the Strip District, bringing Black-owned breweries, distillers, artists and food vendors from across the country into one of Pittsburgh’s best outdoor spaces.
Then on Sunday, August 9, the same grounds turn into a dance floor. August SNB: 400 Degreez is Slappers N Bangers’ 21+ hip hop, R&B and trap day party, running 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Stacks at 3 Crossings. It is the part of the Barrel & Flow weekend itinerary most people forget to lock in until tickets are gone.

What Makes Barrel & Flow Weekend Different
Barrel & Flow was the first brew fest in the country built specifically around Black brewers, drinkers and artists, and it has since been voted one of the best beer festivals in America. Visit Pittsburgh’s guide to the festival lays out the scale of it: dozens of Black-owned breweries and distilleries, more than fifty craft collaborations, live performances, a crafter’s market and visual art throughout the grounds.
What that means practically is that thousands of people fly and drive into Pittsburgh for a single Saturday. Hotels fill. The Strip District gets loud. And by Saturday night, most visitors realize they have an entire Sunday in a city they came a long way to see.
Sunday Belongs to 400 Degreez
That is exactly the gap Slappers N Bangers fills. The August edition, 400 Degreez, is a Pittsburgh day party built for the people already in town for Barrel & Flow weekend and for locals who want the culture without a late night.
Doors are at 4:00 PM. Music runs until 9:00 PM. It is outdoors, it is 21+, and it is at the same address you were at the day before — 2875 Railroad St, Pittsburgh, PA 15222. No second venue to find, no rideshare surge across town, no wristband you have to swap.

The 400 Degreez DJ Lineup
The afternoon is anchored by four Pittsburgh DJs who each get real time on the decks rather than a rushed twenty-minute slot:
- Digital Dave — 4:00 PM. One of Pittsburgh’s most versatile DJs, moving between hip hop, R&B and party classics.
- QRX — 4:30 PM. Known for fearless genre blending and going back and forth all day.
- Arie Cole — 5:00 PM. SNB co-founder and resident DJ, with more than a decade defining the signature SNB sound.
- DJ KK — 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Making her return, with a crowd-first approach that keeps the floor full.
Arie Cole has shared stages with Young Jeezy, Wale, Soulja Boy and Vice President Kamala Harris. QRX and Arie trade off across the afternoon, so the energy builds instead of resetting between sets.
What Is On the Grounds
Beyond the music, 400 Degreez runs multiple bars, local Pittsburgh food vendors, featured Black-owned spirits and specialty cocktails. It is the same ethos that makes Barrel & Flow work — money staying with local and Black-owned businesses, in a space built for people to actually enjoy themselves.
How to Plan the Full Weekend
If you are building a Barrel & Flow weekend itinerary, the simplest version looks like this:
- Friday — arrive, eat in the Strip District or Lawrenceville, get an early night.
- Saturday, August 8 — Barrel & Flow Fest at The Stacks at 3 Crossings.
- Sunday, August 9 — 400 Degreez, 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, same venue.
- Sunday night — you are done by 9:00 PM, which means a real dinner and a drive home Monday morning that does not hurt.
That last point matters more than it sounds. A day party that ends at 9:00 PM is the difference between flying home wrecked and flying home glad you came.
