Digital Dave — 4:00 PM
Digital Dave opens the day, and opening is harder than it looks. The first hour sets whether a crowd stands around or commits. He is one of Pittsburgh’s most respected and most versatile DJs, comfortable moving between hip hop, R&B and party classics without the transitions feeling like separate playlists stapled together.

QRX — 4:30 PM
QRX is one of the most creative selectors in the city, known for fearless genre blending and for pulling records nobody else is playing. His approach is built around unexpected moments — the transition you did not see coming, the song that reframes the whole room.
At 400 Degreez, QRX and Arie Cole trade off across the full afternoon rather than each taking a single block. That back-and-forth format is one of the things that separates an SNB party from a standard club night.
Arie Cole — 5:00 PM
Arie Cole is a Slappers N Bangers co-founder and the resident DJ. He has spent more than a decade defining what the SNB sound is: high-energy sets, fearless transitions, and an ability to read a crowd that you only develop by playing hundreds of rooms.
Outside of SNB, he has shared stages with Young Jeezy, Wale, Soulja Boy and Vice President Kamala Harris. Pittsburgh City Paper profiled Cole and co-founder NFD on how they built SNB from a single 2015 party into what the paper called a Pittsburgh cultural phenomenon — and on their refusal to water down trap and hip hop to chase a broader booking.
DJ KK — 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM
DJ KK makes her return to the SNB stage with a full hour in the 6:00 PM slot — peak time for a day party. Her reputation is built on infectious energy and a crowd-first approach: she reads what the floor is asking for and gives it to them, then pushes.
Creating space for guest DJs, particularly Black and femme-identifying DJs, has been a deliberate part of how SNB has operated for years. It is also just good programming. A one-hour block at 6:00 PM is not a courtesy slot.
Why the DJ-Driven Format Works
Slappers N Bangers is a DJ-driven party, which means the draw is the music curated on the night rather than the venue or a headlining artist. That format has surged since 2020, as people came back to nightlife looking for communal experiences rather than a room to stand in.
It also means the lineup is the product. Four DJs across five hours, with overlap and back-and-forth built in, is a different proposition from one person playing a laptop set for the whole night.
